Zachary and Molly Poole
Molly and Zach met in law school in North Carolina. They were married in St. Augustine, Florida in 2015. After law school, Molly and Zach practiced law in West Virginia for three years where they gave birth to their first child, Benjamin Robert Poole on June 30, 2018. Following Benjamin's birth, Molly and Zach moved back to Charlotte, North Carolina where they spent a healthy and wonderful two years with Benjamin before he was diagnosed with a rare form of Medulloblastoma. Benjamin underwent six rounds of chemotherapy and 30 sessions of radiation treatment which took the Poole family to Washington, DC and Columbus, Ohio for treatment.
Benjamin passed away shortly after his third birthday, on September 28, 2021, from the disease. Molly and Zach established this Foundation in Benjamin's honor to help support families affected by Medulloblastoma.
Zach and Molly still reside in Charlotte, North Carolina, where they have two daughters, Madelyn Elisabeth Poole and Ella Loring Poole. Madelyn and Ella continue to be the most important piece of the Poole's life. They each have an intense passion fo life, and a strong bond of remembrance of their brother, Benjamin. Their children bring unwavering joy, love and warmth to their family.
